Watching latest Clip of DucksTV I watch with joy when Fellow Ducks Fans paint their Happiness,Joy and Pride in the Ducks and Team itself on the Ice of the Ponda. What made me smile was "Thank You" Messages to Frankie...some in French others expressing their Gratitude to the man many known as "Boom-Boom". It makes remeber well all the years he has contributed to the Ducks since he came to the team 12 years ago.

Nov 15th 2005 just one day short of my Birthday I remeber hearing the news Ducks made a Trade sending Sergei Federov to Columbus for Tyler Wright and a then-25 year Minor Leaguer in Francois Beauchemin....2 things came into my mind back then 1.What does he bring to the team and 2.Who is this Guy?. Doing some research I realize he play for 2 teams in QMJHL. Acadie-Bathurst Titan/Laval Titan and Moncton WildCats from 1996-97 to 1999-2000. He would spend a few years in AHL and ECHL before being used sparely by Montreal and then Columbus. Much as I hear comments on whether Ducks won the deal or not back then I chimed in few times with "Wait and See" approach to others during that season.

as the years past Frankie contributed in a Big way from the Knockout Punch on May 1st 2006 vs Jarome Iginla....his Fight prove he had Fighting Spirit that ignited Ducks Warrior within and Dedication to persevere....Let's not forget thos Bone-Quacking Hits which There is so many I lost count over the years. Few stood out for me one being the Hit on Mike Fisher to Zach Parise and Veron Fiddler.

All in All as I look back and reflect on Frankie's Contribution which lead to him Raising the Stanley Cup and making history on June 6th 2007. I say to him as I raise my Glass...Thank You......Thank You Thank You. Thank You for contributing to the Ducks Winning their First Stanley Cup and becoming First California Based Hockey team to Win Hockey's Holy Grail. Thank You for the Time Hits,Defensive Plays and of course the Autograph all those years ago my my Ducks Uniform in March 2007


Forever Francois will always be a Duck and his Contributions like those of Ducks Legends,Icons and Alum Teemu Selanne,Guy Hebert,Paul Kariya,Steve Rucchin,Joe Sacco,Bobby Dollas will be Remeber and talk,Read and wrote about forever!.

Ryan Getzlaf and Corey Perry:Is this their last Chance?

Many of you know well and we can agree the Offensive Decline of the Ducks big 2 as in Captain Getzlaf and Corey Perry has been debated for the past 2 years. I wonder why but it's clear to me that both of them have seem to lost abit of their Passion,Aggressiveness and quickness.  Getzlaf's 11goals and Perry's 17Goals is by far the Lowest in their Career. Disapointed that both have not done a thing in Stanley Cup Playoff battles vs Guppies. Whatever the Issue maybe it's clear they have not been themeleves the last few years. Critics has point out the lack of Effort as well as undiscpline role both have over the course of this season.

IF our Ducks are to restore the Honor,Dedication and Motivation that has made them who they are it has to come from the Twins. Importance of them is not because Perry is unfocus and Getzlaf is his usually laidback self...It's the fact they have not even done enough for the Ducks Cause and advancing the Team's Goals in reclaiming the Stanley Cup. 5 Pacific Division Titles is Good...BUT it's NEVER EVER GOOD enough. as the saying goes...Anything short of the Stanley Cup is unacceptable. Many of you are asking "What Now"....Well next Season being the 25th Season for the Ducks it's important for them to Honor the Predcessors by being ready. In doing so they must lead by example get ready,Focus and hit the ground running. Sooner or later both Perry and Getzlaf understand they will have to groom the Next Generation of Ducks to inherit the roles Previous Ducks once help them Develop...IF NOT. Then they should Step aside.

Anaheim Ducks 17-18 Season in Review:BIG SETBACK!

Embrassing,Anger,Surprised,Frustration........Alot of words can sum up What many Felt.Ducks 4-0 Series Loss which is 3rd Series Sweep our Ducks endure and 2nd in First Round in History. No Words can describe the feelings we have when the Buzzer sound and losing to enemy up north. After overcoming Season of adversity where most of our Ducks were injured we expected a Different team coming out hard and Battle San Jose by Smashing San Jose and Winning the First Round Series...YET We DID NOT EXPECT them to Struggle,undiscpline and Defensive Breakdowns when Defense was needed the Most. What was tough when watching the Series is Lack of scoring...4 Goals Count them FOUR in 4 games. Core Players in Captain Ryan Getzlaf,Alternates Corey Perry and Ryan Kesler had 4pts total. Still Nothing can be done to correct the flaws Anaheim Ducks endure that night like the rest. My Personal view in regarding to What Happen is simple...Injuries and Inconsistences dealt us a Bad hand. Add in outdated Strategies and other who knows what issues Ducks had to deal with well......We are where we are now.

Let me state Clearly much as we lament and feel the Sting of Defeat..that happen on 18th of April. Let us not Dwell too much on 4-0 Series Loss that was worst in 19 years. Many of us Blame the Players,Blame the Coach,GM....etc One thing the First Round Loss has shown our Ducks have Flawes and Collective Will is weaken by lack of scoring,Defensive Breakdowns it was hard to understand where our Ducks will Finish. This Loss we are enduring as the Ducks are pondering is imho not a DEFEAT or as some suggust it signals Stanley Cup Window for our Team is Closed. This is a BIG SETBACK a blow to our morale and to the Morale of Ducks Fans worldwide...We know what our team could do Experince,Youth and Talent they had we expected more and know this team could be better...Yet Fate had other paths for us to take this season. Many of us Ducks Fans hope the team do not make the Playoffs due in part the Injury bug plaguing us taking a toll on Ducks in General...

some of Us Forget Ducks M.O as long as we remeber has been their Peservance. in the Begining I sense frustration at the Ducks inability to score due to key players missing some gave up which is disapointing while others like me knew well any sort of obstacle they will overcome or fall short. As happy as we are it was not good enough as Ducks fell 4-0 to our Rival up North.

Offseason will be Long which is what our Ducks will need in begin their focus on setting things right after a season full of adversity. One thing is clear and that is Ducks DO NOT NEED a REBUILD...DON'T Talk to be about this team needs a "Rebuild" They have the Players it's the fact they have the effort and consistency to get the Job done to achieve everlasting Goal....Our Ducks,Our Team need more then just Retool and Revamp......They need a RESET!

Thoughs on the Humboldt Broncos Tragedy!

What Happen to Humboldt Junior A Hockey team....is nothing that any Hockey Fan in any level would want to see. A Team in any level be NHL,AHL,ECHL,CHL,Euro Leagues and Junior A have special Bond with their Fans and Family..Often they make life long friends and have impact on the Youth of any community they represent.....It's diffcult to think about what the Fans,Family and Friends are going through. Even after days from the tragedy It's Tough not to think about it when Ducks are preparing for the Stanley Cup Quest......yet we do what we can for those in Humboldt. Hockey has been part of my Countrys Culture and I can tell you that hearing the loss of 15 lives on the hockey team hits everyone who have been on those bus rides for Hockey games be it Player or Fan know it's not only "Right of Passage" but Bring people together through Hockey.

Every Fan from Ducks to Fans in Europe show their support and grief...From leaving the stick out in front of the Door be it America and Canada to Donating in helping those affected. As we Grief Let us remeber one thing that this team a Junior A Team in Saskatchewan where a team that did what do...Love to Play for the game and represent a Community they hold dear. As a Canadian who see the outpouring of Support from America to Ukraine I want to say Thank you for your support and I am bless we share in the sport we love...No matter what no matter what Team,Player we follow...We are all Hockey!.

Ducks Playoff Push:Photo Finish

Season Winding Down and Ducks Fighting to the end to secure a Playoff Spot. Only 4 games remain as the Battles our team face and Ducks Fans endure intensify till the now. We know as do our Ducks It's not going to be easy nor a Cakewalk. OT Win vs our Enemy LA Queens was symbolic and important. We gain 2 Pts and HUGE Win telling those who count us out Ducks are in this till the end. Many of you know Ducks control their Destiny and with it Fate as they await what other teams do considering they are 1. 1pt behind LA for 3rd place in NHL Pacific Division and 2. 1pt ahead of Colorado and St Louis for Wild Card Spot. Let's Be Honest Unpredictablity is truly showing itself now with each passing day. Win or Lose Ducks find themselves in 3rd Place in Pacific,Wild Card Spots and at times out of Playoff Picture. One thing is clear it that a Photo Finish....a Finish that will end either with the Ducks in the Playoffs or not. It will end with our Team Fighting Tooth and end to get into the Playoffs after injury plague first half and inconsistenecy of first 2 months of 2018. Doubt has settle in among many of us on Ducks Fanbase be it on Facebook mostly or in Ducks Message Board and Twitter. Some want Ducks to fight through adversity and earn a spot in the Playoffs while others feel IF they Do not they may take this chance to regroup in major way. I disagree with the Latter and feel Ducks making the Playoffs and reclaim what is ours will be Great Test to pass after the season of injuries this team has endure.

IMHO Ducks will make the Stanley Cup Playoffs. They have the experince,Force of Will,Collective Will and Unity to bring them closer to the Ultimate Prize. That being the Stanley Cup....as each day pass and we watch what our Rivals and enemies in the Western Conference Playoff race do. Keep in mind that its not over till it's over. All Hands must be on the Deck,every player have to contribute be it Getzlaf and Perry to Kesboss,Cogs,Lindholm to Rico and of course Gibson and Miller at the Goaltending area.

So Buckle up and be ready for Ducks will be FIGHTING TO THE END...For that is not only what I want them to the do BUT WE ALL AS DUCKS FANS!.

Ducks Talent Pool:Diamonds in the Rough

As many of you know now our Ducks have signed a College free Agent in Kiefer Sherwood out of Miami University in NCAA Hockey ranks. Diving into the College Ranks of NCAA and signing Players to bolster the Ranks of Anaheim Ducks. Over the past 25 Years since the Founding Ducks have Drafted,Signed and Traded For Players who hone the skills in College Hockey Ranks before making the jump to Anaheim Ducks itself. Sherwood who is born and raise in Columbus has total 34goals 52assists 86pts over past 3 years with Miami. His signing joins him on list of College Players who have contributed to the Ducks Cause and increase the talent pool that is deep in not out Defence but Forwards and Goaltending as well.

What really makes me happy is Ducks always have keen eye on Talent no matter if it's CHL in Canada,NCAA in USA or European leagues in Europe. Mostly We tend forget that players our Ducks have "Develop within" ensuring Depth is always ready,willing and able to contribute each season.....Sherwood joins list of College Players like Paul Kariya,Nick Bonino,George Parros,Dustin Penner,Steve Rucchin,Chris Kunitz,John Gibson and Mark Mitera who were signed and Drafted by the Ducks. Each of those I listed have contributed in some way on or off the ice for the Ducks cept a few who fell short during their stay with the team.

Keen eye for Talent Ducks have stretch into the Canadian Hockey League. Ducks have always drafted players in 3 of the leagues ranging from Former Duck Mike Leclerc and Current Former Duck Matt Beleskey and Bobby Ryan playing in NHL Today to Current Ducks Ryan Getzlaf,Corey Perry,Cam Fowler. Be it First Round or later Rounds,They like their College Counterparts where allowed to "Develop Within" ensuring they inherit the positions and legeacy of Ducks attiude of Peservance and Dedication.

As Much as many Ducks Fans debate and discuss whether to "Sell the Farm" we cannot forget Ducks Talent Pool has produce many Diamonds in the Rough who contributed well to our team's Sucess and Victories that we forever Remeber. One thing we know is Ducks Talent Pool has been ranked the Best in NHL Future Watch. as of Now Let's not lose faith in Ducks Players they drafted they may even suprise some of their Critics.

Anaheim Ducks make Offical Bid for NHL All Star Game

Many of you know now and read on OCregister our Anaheim Ducks has launch their Bid Offically to host NHL All Star Game. Now All of us know well and Talk among Ducks Fans from Orange County California to Finland,Canada,Sweden,USA and beyond bout Ducks need to host All Star Game or NHL Draft for many years now it lead to debates whether the team wants to or not...some like myself felt time was now for the Ducks to launch a Bid for ASG or Draft...others say no due to Closeness with LA. One thing We all agree that having One of the 2 events would be Benefical to the Ducks and Local Economy and enchance the History of our Beloved Team we admire. imho Ducks making this Bid Offical is signal the team is ready to take the next step towards being a Great Hockey Franchise and showcase not only City of Anaheim and Orange County but make all Ducks Fans beam with Pride in our Team History. Accolades of the team is a reason Ducks should be able to host a NHL All Star game here is as Follows:

2 Western Conference Championship.
6 Pacific Division Titles.
13 Stanley Cup Playoff Appearances.
