What it means to be Ducksfan

Alot of people can express their loyality to the team in many different ways. some never miss a game,Others choose to record accomplishments of the team and Players in generals. Read any related Article involving Ducks to listening via radio online. There are times i feel some are taking their devotion to the Ducks for granted. I don't care what people say bout our team and us as fans of this great sport. To be a Ducksfan is to stay with this team is seeing not only history but moments that last a lifetime. Be it the Stanley Cup Championship 3 years ago or the First Playoff berth and First Stanley Cup Finals appearance. We should never EVER let anyone tell us who we are and what this team can do.

Watching a Game,Draft and hearing news of Ducks signing a important player is something that brings Ducks Pride to many be it Orange County to all the way to Nova Scotia and Finland. Ducksfans like Anaheim Ducks itself ar Unique in their own way.

Passion of the Ducks

Here I am as Ducks fan Hardcore,Die-hard to the bone.....if One thing that makes me what i am is knowing my deep beleif in the team i follow as child. Knowing each moment is history in making. Be it Good or bad,ugly through thick and thin sometimes it's knowing Ducks as a whole will come out on top or Battle to he Bitter end. Always even though this team came short i truly in my heart beleive better Days are ahead. Yet those new to Duck Cause do not know what it means to feel the backlash and negativitly of being one who follows this unique team and a Unique Place such as Orange County. Often it borders on a strong zeal sometimes fanatic, but i never ever will let anyone or ANYTHING bring me down or my passion for Ducks.

Yes i have at times bring alot of passion on Ducks Message Board, too much but it never stops me from speaking what is on my mind and what i feel. No Apolgois express my zeal yet it annoys others, one thing is certain is seeing a team mock by many during first few years go from sucessful Expanison team to One of greatness. Knowing full well what is acceptable and what is not. I definitly will not back down and i will Post what i feel is right nothing more nothing less. If some Know-it-alls call me out i can tell them to Go to HELL. But it's always important to know Ducksfans are everywhere from Die-hards like me Newbies we are Community that we agree to disagree no more no less.

Ducks Future and beyond

Memorial Cup This week marks pinnacle of what is Future of Hockey,NHL and More. What is notice could be one of the Ducks Prospects Nicolas Deschamps may have a chance to play in the game. Of course many of us know Logan MacMillan's tenure during last year's MemCup tourney with Oceanic. Prospects within Ducks system, Timo Pielmeier,Peter Holland,Jake Gardiner,Josh Brittian,Logan MacMillan,Mark Mitera and Kyle Palmeri and others prove our future is bright and strong in years to come.

What really makes me happy is seeing the number of Californians at the Draft. Since coming to SoCal to see my Anaheim Ducks and getting the feel of positive atmosphere was worth something knowing Anaheim is a sucessful Non-tradtional Hockey Market and hockey growing among Orange County Comunnities. Summer will be a occasion for our team to restruture and regroup.......The need is now what happen last season happens for a reason which is unacceptable. Ducks will Rise and they will do it come 10-11 by leaving a trail of fear for other 29 NHL Teams.

Remebering the past

Be it Good or Bad,Positive or Negative....Success and lost. Nothing can be said then our Ducks history is unique in it's own way. Those on the Ducks message board some who will remain nameless is taking this team for granted. I believe the Ducks future rests in Destiny that goes beyond one Stanley Cup Championship, to say many within Ducks Nation is focusing too much on the past is foolish let alone generalized. The Positive Sucess Ducks have achieve is something we Ducksfans should cherish and appericate. Stanley Cup Championship,Two Western Conference Titles,Pacific Divison Crown,Two Stanley Cup Finals Appearances,Three Western Conference Finals Appearances and 7 Stanley Cup Playoff Berths. Plus holding most wins by a Expansion Team*33wins* in NHL History.

What Ducks have done is prove Anaheim Orange County is a successful Non-traditional Market for Hockey to exist in O.C. Moving forward is something all Ducksfans should do but remembering accomplishments is what keeps the memory going. Those who deny Day of Great Victory*June6th 2007* and Great win this team achieve should not be look as part of a past but something we remember in our hearts.

There those in Ducks Message Board at times be know-it-alls that at times are jerks. Often correcting and insulting some. What can i say Ducksfans are community that disagree to agree at times try to one up on each other. But sooner later i may have to stand on my convictions and speak on what i feel is wrong with some of the Ducks Poster. However DuckPride and Duck Cause is strong and our team will rise Once more.

DucksPride:2010 NHL Draft

One of the most exciting events in offseason is none other then NHL entry Draft. Besides Stanley Cup Finals and enjoying the game. Watching a Player's name out and seeing him putting on the Jeresy sweater of his team is truly something to see. Reason begin that one of the players including Ducks who will draft their prospect maybe a NHLer be it legendary status or someone who will have a impact on the team they follow.

Ducksfans as many know see players who wore Ducks D and Duckmask years before develope from Prospect to Ducks regular on the roster. From Mike Leclerc and Vishneski to Getzlaf and Perry. Draft being held in LA aka Enemey Territory gives us a chance to show DuckPride and wear our Colors representing Anaheim Ducks and Duck Cause.

2010 NHL Draft in LA is golden Oppourtity for Ducks Fans in Orange County and elswhere to show up and represent our team. Ducks will have Draft Parties and of course they will be watching the Event from good O.C as i know they will one thing is certain i hope to see a large contigent of Ducksfans invading staples centre on June 25.

Anaheim Ducks,LA Angels and BJJ

Since Ducks season is over many Ducksfan have tried to focus on something to kill time before Ducks 17th season begins. It's odd our team is no longer in Stanley Cup Playoffs, but it may be a good in the long term giving Ducks something to fight for in knowing it is unacceptable to have a slow start, let alone not having much urgency can lead to a Team's sluggish start. Summer may seem long for us first time in 4 years but many find something to do in keeping track on Ducks and news involve them. be it Ducks Offical Website from Ducks.nhl.com,Ocregister,Facebook or even twitter no matter where we are Ducks are on our mind. Since others have focus on baseball like Anaheim Angels Orange County's other Pro sports team. I have grown to follow and keep track of Angels baseball through few games thus far. I admit i only see few innings from time to time never full game since i am more into Hockey then any sport, but i watch just to pass time. Baseball is not part of my nation's country but i have deep respect for Anaheim Angels and it's fans. My stay in Anaheim this year i was able to take Pics of Angel staduim

BJJ aka Gracie Jiu-jitsu,Jiujitsu or Carlson Grace Jiu-jitsu is another aspect that has grown on me since there are many Jiu-jitsu schools in Orange County area Gracie Barra,Tinguinha Brazilian Jiujitsu Academy,Carlson Gracie OC Academy,Ralph Gracie OC are four schools that stand out. Seeing it as a sport is something i disagree with in general since it's evolved from a Marital Art and it's nothing more then Ground Judo. Judo another Grappling art that interests me is something i hope to try if i have time. Needless to say it has intrigue me for awhile, no i have not watch UFC but i have watch few matches from time to time. However If i was to dabble abit in Martial Arts like BJJ or Judo....the four i would take rounds out to 1. Wing Chun Kung Fu 2.Judo/Carlson Gracie Jiu-Jitsu 3.Muay Thai 4.Boxing. They stick out to me for their practical and common sense apporach to understanding one's culture and history.

I know deeply Anaheim Ducks,Anaheim Angels and Jiu-Jitsu in and around Orange County has it's impact on Orange County be it Anaheim,Orange,Irvine,Mission Vejio,Newport Beach and other communites no matter what I have and always appericate Orange County and Ducks.

Watching Stanley Cup Playoffs and my view of Sidney Crosby.

Watching as observer well mostly a person who enjoys seeing one's team rivals fall is something i always love to see those i dispise and hold hate for lose in the most typical of ways. Be it San Jose's tradtion of choking to Detroit finding themselves down on losing end of a upstart team. Of course both have been battling teams i know those in Orange County hate most. Be it Colorado,Phoniex all four have been Ducks rivals and enemies throughout Ducks History.

It seems odd Ducks are not in Playoffs let alone it seems yesterday Ducks were elimanted and not make it to a fifth straight trip to Stanley Cup Playoffs. One thing that is exciting bout watching Post-season is Who will be this year's Stanley Cup Champions.

For the NHL West it is simple i would nothing like and many Ducksfans and those in Orange County agree in seeing San Jose,LA and Detroit lose in First round. Yet Colorado,Phoniex and Vancouver are another three that i hope lose in 2nd round IF they can pull it off. NHL East it's simple New Jeresy and for me personally Pittsburgh.

Reason Pittsburgh is the notion Sidney Crosby is supposely the NHL's "Saviour". It's not his yapping and whine that annoys me it's arrogance let alone issues involve due to local disdain and jealousely of this man. I mean for crying out loud He got a BillBoard before he won the Cup.....Right around time Joe Dipenta months ago brough Stanley Cup Home to Cole Harbour Nova Scotia. If there is anything i see wrong it's promoting one Player and ignoring another's hardwork. Of course it shows at times people tend to go with one who is popular.

I am not a fan of Sidney Crosby nor am i swept by his suppose Hype bout him over the years before he enter NHL. People can say how he handles himself but i for one view him as One of Many players that gives NHL it's glory.
