San Jose,Detroit or Vancouver...It's hard to say who should i root for of course i never care nor like the teams Ducks have a history with. Battles they had with these teams were not only tense but important considering history they have with our Ducks in the past. Whether it be Rivarly with San Jose, Feud with Detroit or Putting up with BS of Vancouver fans. One thing is certain imho i will NOT cheer for any team coming out of the Western Conference. Put it this way I don't WANT all three teams to succeed. San Jose would love to see them fall in a epic way,Detroit love to see them be embrass and humliated...as for Vancouver what can i say as Canadian i love Hockey,Ducks and 67's I do not want to be put up with "Bring Cup back to Canada" BS.
I would rather have Boston win Stanley Cup then see 3 out west Succeed. yeah call it a fool or a Ducksfan who is paranoid but to me there is one team that is the Ducks. I have no issue with others who cheer for other teams. To me that what makes Hockey different from other sports. If you choose to cheer on Vancouver no problem or T.O hey it's a sign of respect even though that team has no intention of fielding a winning team. To be truthful i am hoping This year's Stanley Cup Finals will be exciting as for Ducks in Offseason I am eager to see what happens.

My Thoughs on Ducks Offseason
It's been weeks since Ducks were eliminated sometimes one has to wonder where this team will go from here. I for one looking at who Ducks will pursue at Free agency and maybe players at the Draft, then again it sucks that Ducks elminated in first round first time in 3 years is something i never would like to see. But as always it's price to pay for Success this team has tasted in years past. besides first round loss against Nashville there were positives in accomplishments of Players be it Perry,Selanne,Fowler and Lubo. What really stands out is team defied the odds by overcoming adversity, from 0-4 start to earning a spot in the Playoffs when many predicting they wont'. What makes this season good is they did it without having Hiller the no1 goalie in lineup. Not able to play and with suffering from vertigo is something i can't imagine Hiller is going through. But i wish him the best hoping he returns....but credit has to be given to two goalies who guided the Ducks towards post-season. Ray Emery and Dan Ellis both goalies have do well including Emery. Even though Ray was a sens who Ducks beat 4 years ago did very well in contributing to the Ducks 2nd half season.
Truly sting of disappointment and pain of loss is still there. One has to look ahead and not dwell on the past that is 10-11 season which was unpredictable and imho crazy. Whatever happens this offseason i believe Ducks will look at three important things in regards to Free agent frenzy and NHL Draft. 1. Replenish their Talent pool in the system,drafting best players is important to build on. However it won't surprise me if the team choose Defencemen or maybe it won't hurt to draft a Goaltender. 2.Sign affordable Free agents who i hope will make a impact on the Ducks next season and snap their string of slow starts. 3. Re-sign their RFA's If Teemu and Todd would like to return then by all means they should...If not they earn the right to either call it a career.
I positive this offseason will be a summer of change and looking forward to what will be a decison Ducks will make.

Defeat To Give Value To Victories
There are alot of things to say tonite let alone it is dishearten and sad to see Ducks lose in first round. Tough one to stomach considering all adversity this team has overcame since Day 1. As much as many of us are still in shock some shed a tear when buzzer sound, There is nothing to be ashame bout this team or players on it. Personally one has to look at roadblocks they have overcome to get as far as where they are. This Loss will motivate Ducks from Players to Front office in what needs to be done. Yes this team is all Offense and Defence is rebuilding,Goaltending is a question mark. Those of you know this team is far from becoming great.....I personally feel deep down with right develop the Core players on Ducks will be able to move forward and learn from what has happen in this series.

Ducks Decisions have paid off
Whether it's signing Lilja at the begining of 10-11 season, to Signing Emery and trading for Ellie in respond to Hiller out with Vertigo.Decisons made by our Ducks in they gamble on has paid off in regards to roadblocks and slow starts this team has gone through over the past few months. Of course one cannot forget the progess and Choice Ducks made in starting Cam Fowler this season. It's amazing he has done well in his first year....9G 28assist 37pts. He has contributed timely goals be it OT winner in 5-4 Win over calgary and Dallas in 4-3 OT win or his first goal as a Duck and NHL against Phoniex.

Ducks this week and the road ahead.
Ducks control their fate and we know they are in the driver's seat this week. Team knows what must be done and is expected of them to achieve a spot in NHL West's top 8 and secure a Post-season berth. Need is to use our strengths not only to set the tone but not let 3 teams standing in our Ducks way gain ANY momentum during this week. If the Ducks control what they have....It must come from all players united for a single goal and a clear purpose. Everyone from Ducksfans to Ducks themselves must come to realize these 3 games will determine the path they take. What it comes down to proving naysayers and Haters wrong. Honor gives Ducks a Driven Purpose,Pride is how we appreciate and admire history of our Team and Ducks Nation growing each month. Glory comes down to becoming not only Immortal in Winning but absolute Victory against our enemies and rivals in NHL West.
Truth is plain as day Ducks not only have to stay in the 7th,8th or whatever seed they finish. They MUST finish the season strong and continue momentum towards setting things right. Collective Will must be on full display Every player on the Ducks must contribute....There should be NO ROOM what soever for errors or Mistakes. Call it Gut-check time or as i use old Cliche "Battle to the bitter end" or "Now or NEVER". Each moment,each Game, each milestone Ducks reach be it Team or players set's us apart from the rest of the NHL in terms of History and defining ourselves as successful Hockey/Sports area or market. Often too many be it Trolls,haters and naysayers time and time again has define Ducks fanbase and Orange County as a whole...
Never less it goes to show they assume too MUCH and We should not give them the time of day to response to their ignorant statements. Ducks vs LA:Epic battle between Rivals
If there is one word to describe importance of the Ducks/LA rivarly game tommorow it's Epic......Epic in importance of where Ducks will go from here. Yet amidst the rollercoaster of 10-11 our team Must make not only a STATEMENT but show LA true meaning of fear by making their time on ice absolutle Nightmare. 38-27-5 81pts is good but not good enough if our team has to break through and earn the spot for post-season. One thing that seperates our Ducks from the queens is the success and hard work this team fought for to earn not only glory but honor. Stanley Cup Championship,2 Western Conference Championships, Pacific Divison Championship,7 Stanley Cup Playoff appearances and two Stanley Cup Finals Appearance in 18 years is something many of us know to be proud of...Compare to LA which continues season after season of floundering one has to how 40 years can make this team hate us even more.
Stakes are high and whatever happens Ducks should come out stronger and NOT take our enemy lightly. I know rest of you do not like where the Ducks are but as the saying goes "Nothing comes easy" not even the seasons prior do the Ducks have to strive for to proof their worth by honor,Pride and Self-respect. Let me say this clear the battle will be epic and Ducks must TAKE IT TO LA from when the PUCK drops to when buzzer sounds. If the Ducks are to earn a Playoff berth they have to DESTROY not only LA but Calgary.

Leaving my heart,Mind,Body and soul in Orange County
As i look arcoss the Honda Centre aka Ponda i am left with a imprint on my heart and Soul. Ducks have never seize to amaze me once more the people i met during my six days have founding a unique impression on me. From Comebackteemu to Powerplayer Amanda. I have also was able to visit the Mission to put myself in those who live in the past...It was a beautiful site with a interesting history on Califorina as a whole...Once more i get to see the beautiful of the Areas in San Juan Capistrano,Anaheim, Irvine and Tustin. Taking pics and best of all getting Autographs of Teemu Selanne and Cam Fowler. Not to mention their pics too....I am left with absolute Happiness and joy at what i have seen,witness and watched Ducks Hockey so far. From Ducks winning 2 out of 3....Two wins being two Epic victories to the Weigh-ins and sound of Mexican Music for the Alvarez-Hatton Fight. The Atmosphere and positive upbeat of it's people....from Acjahmen i have met in SJC to eating at RA Sushi where the Ducks Sushi roll event occured. I am forever grateful and hope one day to able to live in such a wonderful place as Orange County.
To the folks i have not met i will return and hope to see you soon. Things move fast and those who live in O.C and watch our Ducks should be blessed but appericate Unique team that is front of us.
