Ducks at 2-7-2:Slow Starts happen Before!

I am not going to lie nor sugarcoat where our Ducks are now at the early point of 15-16 season. Frustration,Disappointment and at times surprise is what we feel including myself when seeing the Ducks Struggle in October. This team lost ground in a Big way let alone several of the Big Guns did not score any goals in first 10 games of Ducks 15-16 Campaign. Seeing the team not scoring any goals was mindboggling yet frustrating when I saw them live for 3 games at Ponda in October......Don't know how I feel, you can bet I was not happy nor impress with The Ducks not only scoring any goals but getting shutout in back to back games which was Blow to moral of our team and Ducks Fans everywhere. I can honestly feel how Ducks Fans felt during the loss against Phx and the Avs. Not good Feeling and demoralizing if you can know what some Ducks Fans who were sitting with me call the team "San Diego" in Sarcastic Tone. But there was something that made me think bout slow start Ducks have endure this year. For all that has happen in October first 11 games made me think back to Previous seasons.........before Ducks were Rising in 2003 and 2007 before they shocked the Hockey World few times. Struggle Ducks have at their moment is Reminder nothing is easy and that Struggles have been part of our History before. Sure We were blessed with 3 straight strong Starts. We cannot dwell on misery of Ducks having to lose ground or take our frustration out on this team. We must always remember Ducks endure as we Ducks fans have be through slow starts before.....Season is still young IF the Ducks can regain lost Ground and honor in the next few Months then we would look at October as Nothing more then a Hiccup. For Next 15 games it won't be easy and We know as our Ducks Do nothing is easy for Perseverance is Essential and Vital ot overcome Any Adversary. T-Minus 1 Day till Ducks Hockey:Season Opener

So it Begins tommorow night, after months of waiting,days of talking bout "What IF'S to seeing the Players our Ducks have acquired for and signed in the Offseason has our Hopes up and our Goals being a real as Brightness of the Sun. "Gathering of the Ducks" aka Training Camp has concluded with the Ducks 22nd Edition assembled and ready for the Quest for the Stanley Cup. Path we see is clear it will be tough yet Hard as we know nothing is easy to earn the Right to Hoist Hockey's Holy Grail and become Immortal in the Hockey world yet again. News I hear from and read on Ducks Message Board is Good,Positive and Hope is everywhere from Ducks Message Board to Facebook,Twitter and Instagram. Even Ducks Fans outside of Orange County California and North America and Looking ahead in what is Important season. Arrival of Haeglin,Stewart,Bieska and others give the Team not only a deep one but strengthen the Depth everywhere including Left Wing for the first time as I remember. But we must not take it for granted or assume this season is a forgone Conclusion. The Hockey News may have Predicated the Ducks to win it all yet we must take it with a grain of salt since Prediction do not come true..........Cept 8 years ago when yours truly and I think others had a "Wait and see" Approach that year plus it was first time I made Trip to see the Ducks in person. Looking at Ducks Roster I am very pleased and Happy with the Players they put together on the team. from Hagelin and Knudobin being name to the Ducks 2015-16 opening season Roster to young Guns Chris Wagner and Josh Mansonn earning their spot through Hard Work and Dedication. Mix of youth and Experience as I see the names is apparent and clear as Day right in front of us. We know and we can agree "Good is not close enough" is not only their New Mantra But I see it as a RALLYING Cry for the Ducks and all DUCKS FANS THROUGHOUT THE HOCKEY WORLD and everywhere. Too Long we have endure 3 Game 7 Losses that it dwells abit on our Mind. Like a sickeness it must cured. Yet in order to this Ducks must BREAK it with Collective Will that must KNOW NO FEAR and have faith in each other. First as Ducks 22nd Campaign we must hit the ground Running by MAKING example of San Jose....MAKE THEM INTO Sushi and CARVE A PATH THAT LEAVES NOTHING BUT Teams being afraid of us to play and Battle against each Night. 15-16 Season also marks historic First in Ducks Farm team establish in San Diego. Talks of having a farm team close to Home in SoCal has been talk about for last decade. Truly I am thrilled like all Ducks Fans that Ducks not only move the Farm team close to Home but Founded the San Diego Gulls in honor of previous Gulls team prior years before. Ducks Sphere of Influence expanding to San Diego imho will increase Hockey beyond Orange County but also expand FanBase that will encompass both Orange County and San Diego County. To me it's a Big Boost and Great Thing for the Ducks and kudos to Henry and Susan Samueli on bringing Hockey Back to a City with Great History. Gulls Uni and Logo has some symbolism from the lettering to Ducks Shoulder Patch on the Gulls Uni. What excits is knowing the team will will keep a close eye on Gibson,Ritchie and other Ducks Prospects who will get some seasoning while being monitor by Ducks Front Office. Gone are now the days where the Ducks had to form alliances with East Coast Teams in order to develop their Prospects.....There was one time Ducks had no farm team which hinder that progress for a short time. As we Count Down I am looking at Ducks SMASHING THROUGH our enemies and Rivals as well as Gulls in establishing their Mark and Setting the Tone for this Hockey Season. As for Ducks Players we should keep an eye on John Gibson,Nic Ritchie and others who symbolic represent Ducks Greatness for Years to come. Anaheim Ducks 2015-2016 Season:My Thoughs and Hopes

"It's the most wonderful time of the year". More likely it's new beginnings and Start for our Ducks in the coming days we will see 22nd Edition of Anaheim Ducks assembled and Ready to Bring Glory to not only City of Anaheim and Orange County but Ducks Fans worldwide from Canada,USA,Finland and Russia to Sweden and beyond. New Players,New Assistant Coach and new mantra "Good is not Close enough" signals the Ducks are not done nor forget shortcomings of the previous Post season. Losing Game 7 3 years a row weights heavy in our minds.....but from reading from those on Ducks Message Board it has strengthen the Resolve and hasn't dampen the Mood of many Ducks Fans from Ducks Message Board,Facebook,Twitter and Instagram who knows the Ducks Can do better. It stings abit but not alot as it did months ago. What I look forward is the Ducks as they always do in season prior under Bruce "Almighty" Boudreau path must be paved with RUTHLESS Fury and Relentless Aggression that leaves alll 29 teams be it our Enemies and Rivals shaking in the skates and Fans in awe of our team as they "RISE AGAIN" to meet the Challenge that awaits them. I Hope in my heart and Soul the Ducks will not only Dominate but snap the Game 7 funk that ails them in Stanley Cup Playoffs. What lay ahead for this team is Expectations that are set for them. 3 straight Pacific Division Titles is good...not Close enough in achieving the Goal that inspire us all 8 years ago. Make no mistake as we ponder how and where the Ducks will Finish in their 22nd season. As the Roster Cuts have been made and Ducks slowly after "The Gathering" we know our team is the not only good.......BUT the Best in Hockey World. All it needs is Collective Will and the Dedication to GREATNESS is and has been that FACTOR that Drives us all. Are WE NOT SATISFIED with results of the last 3 years?. I SAY NO I say never. Players I see I like and what Bob has done was necessary in order to embolden the Ducks and Drive home the Pure Message. Anything SHORT then Winning the Stanley Cup is a Failure....Too words that I always say and that is "NEVER AGAIN". As I countdown the Days to Ducks Quest for the Stanley Cup....I also look forward to going to see My Friends who I never take for granted their friendship. I know a week is merely short to them But I always it each day as well as sightseeing Orange County. I do not know why I always comeback. That is left for another Tale to be Told. June 6th 2007 "Day of Great Victory":8 years Later

Memories last forever and tomorrow we mark a day that is symbolic to us all. Anaheim Ducks won their 1st Stanley Cup on that day...6-2 over Ottawa winning the Series 4-1, We all remember where we are from when Puck Drop to Buzzer sound. Whether you be there in your seat at the Ponda aka Honda Centre Live in your seat when Ducks Became Champions and FIRST California Based team to achieve that feat to those around the world watching it at home,Keeping Score or listening Internet Radio. We all knew where we were when Ducks Won Hockey's Biggest Prize on a the day I coined "Day of Great Victory" on Ducks Message Board. For me watching that game that night meant alot to me as a Diehard Ducks Fan. When Scott Niedermayer hoisted the Stanley Cup tears of joy,Happiness and vindication came over me. Screaming "Anaheim Ducks 4ever" while I run through My house I felt on top of the world....I though of My life long friends who I made that day. from those I met in person and those I connected on Facebook It made me realize that moment we all change from the team to All Ducks Fans as whole we realize the sky is not only the limit but there are endless possibilities from Free agents many Ducks fans hope for to Prospects Ducks could Draft. Amazing that it seems as if That Stanley Cup Victory was yesterday often I smile at the Pics of Giguere holding his Baby skating on ice to Teemu Holding the Stanley Cup over his head. Roar of the Crowd counting down it was like Thunder of Energy knowing full well that we became the Top Dog of Hockey World. Reflecting and remembering that moment reminds me best is yet to come. As many of us deal with the sting of 3rd Straight Game 7 loss at Home for the Ducks. Let's remember clearly and openly in our hearts and Minds with each adversity Ducks face no matter Win or Lose,adepting to Injuries that plague them or any funk our Ducks with overcome it. People say Ducks should focus on being like other teams for Success in Copying them. Ducks Losing Game 7:Days After

Disappointment,Sad,Anger and of course Frustration....it's something Felt when the buzzer sound and Ducks Losing for 3rd Straight Game 7 at home in 3 years. What's worst was knowing our team was sadly enough the First to lose 3 Game 7's with Home Ice advantage. Our Foes are having a field day bombarding with the BS we see on Ducks Facebook and Twitter. Over on Ducks Message Board it's mix of Knee Jerk Reaction and upset at why our Ducks would lose a Game 7 at Home AGAIN was not insulting but Dishonorable. Seeing Clarence Campbell Bowl presented to a opposing team on Ponda for 2nd time was a Disgrace. I read from fellow Ducks fans feel shaken and have faith tested. I can't blame most of them for feeling that way.Blame the players,Coaches and the system for this Let down We don't know how or why the Ducks Fall short 2 Days ago. One can wish to be the fly in the wall to understand or know what was going on in the Ducks Locker Room. It hurts seeing many of the players in postgame interview...You can tell by their expressions they felt they were the better team. In my honest view I truly Believe This team could go all the way, whatever the Issue is the Ducks must address asap this offseason. You See as much as we can debate,Bicker and disagree on what happen the Big Picture that follows this Team is simple...Ducks Need a Defencemen. Someone with not only a Calming Influence but can assist in developing Ducks Four Young Guns within Defence Corps. They have Beauchemin but we may need another to give guys like Fowler,Vatanen,Despres and Lindholm a Shot in the arm and groom them for the role as part of the Ducks Cause. There will be changes not major ones as we speak as days will turn to weeks and months as far as winning the Pacific Division Title for 3rd straight year,overcoming injuries and other adversity This team is destine for greatness. Agree with me or not with how i see the Ducks right now tested with this heartbreaking loss...it will strengthen resolve and that of the youth within their ranks. They now again that Winning and overcoming Adversity is Hard never Easy not a Cakewalk. One can expect them to Win but we must always realize that to achieve Victory you have to endure Naysayers,Trolls and Pundits not to motion Predictions of alot of Rival or hated NHL Fans and especially in Hockey. "Where do the Ducks go from here" beleive me questions will be coming and changes will be needed. It pains me to think of the loss and seeing the Pic of the Hawks presented with the Western Conference Trophy made mine blood boil....All in all IF the Ducks are to snap this seemly bizzare Funk that is losing Game 7's 3 straight years it comes down to Ducks Fans most of us moving on and Remember that we must Not let this create Doubt on the Team who we feel is the best and many Ducks fans who believe in the path Ducks will take. Remember my Fellow Ducks Fans the path to Stanley Cup is hard and full of obstacles. Let's be Thankful appericate Ducks going as Far as Stanley Cup Final Four.....we know Ducks Do Better and what is needed is a player or two to get back on Track. Ducks Stanley Cup Quest: My Thoughs

Greetings and Hello My Ducks Fans Brethren. It's a Road pave with Adversity,Questions and sometimes mistakes that were costly our Ducks in the battles they face against Calgary,Winnipeg and Chicago. Yet we overwhelm both previous teams with our Scoring,Hits and RUTHLESS AGGRESSION in winning First Round and 2nd Round. Chicago has proven to be a tough test for our Team. We know it was never easy nor a cakewalk and they have Proven that each game the Ducks battle and went toe to toe with 3 games going into OT. Before the Playoffs began many Sports Pundits showed no respect for the Ducks. They say we will be out in first round. We Prove them Wrong. They say we will be out in 2nd Round. Yet we prove them Wrong......There is a Long History within our team we have proven Sports Pundits,Naysayers,Other NHL Fans,Trolls and others wrong by Defying their "Words" and "Predictions". It boils down to this edition of the Ducks being hungry wanting it more and Making their Mark in Team History. Each Game I see and look at the Players i see a Generation of Ducks Players....Hungry,Eager and ready to Prove themselves in 2015 Playoffs. From Matte Beleskey and Ryan Kesler to Stellar Plays of Freddie and Youthful Energy of Ducks Defence Corps. This Team is Ready for what will be a Test of Will,Character and Determination. IF we are to Push through and Reach the Stanley Cup Final Ducks Must Impose their Will,Dominate Chicago from when Puck Drops to when Buzzer sounds. As you all know Mean I always beleive in knowing the history of one's team that makes a Ducks Fan truly different then other NHL Teams is seeing History or milestones reach or broken. Anaheim Ducks and President's Trophy another Milestone?

As I write our Ducks are approaching endgame of their 14-15 season..Clinching 11th Stanley Cup Playoff Berth in their History and 3rd Straight Pacific Division Title as we speak due to fate tonite. One thing that is on everyone's mind President's Trophy,awarded to the Team with Best Record in Hockey it has some dubious Distinction as some of NHL Teams who have earn this trophy has a tendency to not win it. Much has been made bout teams winning it some think it's a Jinx others a curse... since a team has won it have not done well in Stanley Cup Playoffs since trophy was introduce in 1985-86 season. Other Ducks fans I have comments on Ducks Message Board,Facebook and Twitter realize it would be important for the team to focus on Stanley Cup then the Trophy for being Regular season Champ. some within Ducks fanbase beleive it will be a best thing for our Team another Historic First for the Ducks in their young History. Whether they win it or not imho I rather would have the Ducks focus on Winning the Stanley Cup then President's Trophy...Yes I am superstitious and I understand views of many Ducks fans some feel it's wise not the focus on Prez Trophy...Others see it as Symbolic Milestone showing the Hockey World we are the BEST. I won't lie to you all I am indifferent towards President's Trophy and say IF the Ducks Clinch President's Trophy....I will be happy to accept this team is Best in Regular Season yet Main Goal for all Ducks fans should not lose Sight of the Main Goal.
