A Day for all Ducks Fans witness on that special Night..6/6/7 is symbolic for the Ducks and for many who witness it live at Ponda,on TV,Radio and elsewhere. Anaheim Ducks Won 6-2 claiming the First Stanley Cup and making History. That Night everything change,We Change...our Ducks Change. After 14 years of Fighting against all Odds Ducks achieve what was once impossible and to some Purist, unthinkable. When final Buzzer sound I scream..."ANAHEIM DUCKS 4EVER" jumping for joy and tears of happiness running around like a crazy guy. Becoming First California Base team to Win it all...The team did something special and for me it was special due in part I got autographs of every player including Coach and Coaching on Ducks Uni giving to be by JiggytotheCup two months prior. It seems like Yesterday and felt like yesterday but every moment we remeber we cherish this epic day when our Ducks won it all....It felt like validation of our Major Support for the Ducks. All the Naysayers,Doubters,Haters,Trolls and Hockey Purist mock us,Harrass us be it online or at any game and real life face to face. We stood by the team as they went through the Darktimes,Struggles for respect and through the First Ducks Rising in 2003 and 2nd in 2007. All of Negative we endure washed away when the Ducks embrace each other at the Home Net when Buzzer Sound and it was Made offical when Stanley Cup was presented and Then Captain Scott Niedermayer raise the Cup with roar of the crowd...It was a Epic. thinking about that now no words then "WOW" and Joy came to me my mind...I imagine everyone felt the same way that Night.
Ducks and Ducks Fans change that night....we no longer became the Joke many Trolls wanted us to be and to get under our skin. We know as we did now back then sky is now the limit and expectations changed. No longer we hope for the Ducks to make the Playoffs...We expect them to make it and Win the Stanley Cup simple as that. Reflecting on this special day for Ducks and all Ducks Fans I ask all of you who are reading...wear your Ducks Colors and rise a glass to one of the Best teams our Ducks assemble 11 years ago remeber and reflect and know this team...Our will be back to Reclaim the Stanley Cup.
